A nice light smell, a good bar
"I was intrigued by the tobacco idea, having a nostalgic memory of my grandpa's big canister of pipe tobacco. When you smell it before you unwrap it, there is indeed a hint of that, which is nice. Once I got it wet and was using it, it wasn't quite the same smell but maybe distantly adjacent. But what it was instead was a really nice smell, a fresh and light one that you wouldn't really associate with tobacco. Whatever it is, it's nice, and I like it, and it's a big fat bar so it's going to last a good while. Be careful, Paypal shoppers, a weird thing happened to me buying this via Paypal. For the first time ever I had a payment held for compliance review. Compliance with what? Soap laws? It was weird, they held it for three days and ultimately denied it, and upon googling around, I think it was because it had the word Havana in it, which auto-triggers compliance review because of sanctions on Cuba. This is crazy, it's just a word in a product name by an American company, but whatever. Ultimately they denied it without explaining. . . so I just used the credit card behind my Paypal directly instead of via Paypal and it worked here just fine. The lesson: don't use Paypal. It's dumb but if that's the way they want it, fine, no business from me. So yeah just use your regular credit card for this one."
