A very moisturizing gel that will soften and prepare the beard for shaving while also moisturizing the face and providing additional lubrication to prevent skin irritation.

Apply a small amount on area to be shaved and let stand for 1-2 minutes. Lather as usual right over the gel. Will not coat your brush like many pre-shave oils. Pleasantly scented with natural herbal ingredients.

Okay for lighter beards

"I have a coarse, heavy beard, and I bought this product because TOBS has a great reputation in the wet shave world. First of all, it's a fairly small portion, and my beard required a good amount in order to get an even coating so it didn't last all that long. Secondly, my results weren't very noticeable, and I've used other pre-shaves that really had more of a noticeable effect. This product isn't bad by any means, but I get the feeling it probably is more effective with men having a lighter, less coarse beard."
