For hair and scalp: Use as a pre-shampoo treatment, smoothing the castor oil over your hair from the roots to the ends. For fine hair, leave in for 20 minutes. For thicker, coarser textured hair, leave in overnight. Use fingers or a wooden brush to massage into the scalp.
For nails: Massage a drop of castor oil into each nail bed and allow to absorb overnight.
For skincare: Warm several drops between your palms and massage into your skin. If castor oil’s thick texture is too heavy for your skin, try blending with another cold-pressed plant oil. Castor oil has a thick, heavy texture. Warm between your palms for easier application.
