"Ordered this without having sampled because I love lavender, and the reviews were amazing. I don't smell lavande so much, nor cassis. As another reviewer mentioned, it smells a bit like grandma perfume. The scent is quite strong, I use one spritz at night and it overwhelms my whole bedroom. Not necessarily bad, but I wish it were more recognizable lavender and blackcurrant to me. One pet peeve is that the very next day after I received this, the label started peeling, and it won't stick back. I realize this is not an expensive fragrance but many people (including me) love the bottle, and now it just looks sad. It's gonna look nasty soon."

"I’ll be honest, I purchased this mainly for the bottle, which seems to take its inspiration from the Art Nouveau period. When it arrived, I didn’t know what to expect, but sprayed liberally and found myself in a field of lavender with the scent of sweet black currants in the distance. This is a recent purchase for me, but I’ve been wearing it daily since it arrived. I usually apply in the morning, at midday, and again at bedtime. What can I say? I’m besotted. Did the ladies of the turn of the 19th to the 20th century smell like this? I can’t be sure, but my imagination says yes!"
