A very soft wax
"For me, this is the right wax at the right time. I've let my mustache grow very large and let it fall to the sides of my mouth in large swaths. I don't need anything too strong because what I want my beard to do happens rather naturally. But it without anything to keep my facial hair in line, I'd look like a hobo. So a very soft wax that spreads easily but doesn't offer a strong hold is exactly what I need to do this. A very strong wax would actually be a problem because it would difficult to spread the wax through my extra long facial hair without ripping it out. A year ago, I would have panned this wax for the same reason. If you are hoping to form a handlebar mustache, this wax would absolutely fail because it's hold is so weak. But if you're looking for a wax to reinforce a rather natural look that's not defying gravity, this works rather well."
