"This was my first time purchasing on Smallflower, and I am extremely happy with my experience. I think the sample before opening is brilliant. I purchased Kerosene, Black Vines, and I have to say, this is quite possibly the most gorgeous aroma I have ever laid my nose on. I was looking for a licorice perfume, and this does it, exquisitely. It dries down to a warm, beautiful, spicy scent with the licorice (anise) accord remaining, but quieting and settling down to perfection. This is not for everyone, but if you're looking for something that no one else will smell like, I think you will really love this fragrance. I will definitely be purchasing from Smallflower again. **For reference** I am a female. I think this is straight down the middle unisex. 💜"

"Such a great scent! At first sniff, the anise reminded me of black licorice (of course) and also spice gum drops. But it’s not daunting… It draws you in and dries down to a wonderful, cozy fragrance. Awesome staff recommendation."
