Expensive below-average shaving soap

"This shaving soap sounds great on paper. After shaving with it three times, I'd say it's average at best. The size of the container is too small to accommodate a brush, so it's hard to load up the bristles. It's also difficult to work up the right lather consistency — too much glycerin maybe? Compared to other soaps I've used, the process takes longer and requires more trips back to the soap from your shaving bowl or face, so it's messy and effortful. And despite the promising list of ingredients, the scent is lemon dominant. An unusual choice for a shaving soap, and not one I find at all appealing."

"I really like the lather of this long lasting shave soap and the screw on lid is a plus for me. The question however is whether or not it is worth three or four times the cost of other good quality shave soaps. For me so far it is an occasional treat."
